What type of agency is your company looking for? We are looking for independent agents that are willing to work with and make commitments with a small regional company.
What are your premium volume requirements? (In profit sharing? In life?) We have no production requirements. We offer profit sharing options at 200k.
Are you currently doing any niche-marketing program? Yes, we do not credit score our personal auto business. We have developed an excellent mono-line commercial auto program. We write Liquor Liability and General Liability for Taverns and Restaurants.
What is your company’s most aggressive line of business? Personal Auto is our most aggressive line of business.
Do you use credit scoring? We use it on new and renewal business for our homeowners business.
What methods do you use to distribute your insurance products? Our only line of distribution is thru independent agents.
What do you think makes your company different, or stand out from all the rest in Illinois? Why would an agent want to contract with your company? We value our relationship with the independent agent. Without your support we would have no way to reach our customers. You still have a local personal to talk to if you have a problem with our company.
If we had agents agree to sell homeowners policies with actual cash value endorsements, would you write more business in southern Illinois? No, we want to insure homes to 100% of their value. Having agents agree to sell an inferior product isn’t the going to help the problem.
