What type of agency is your company looking for? Professional independent agencies with a proven track record for growth and profit. Agents must commit to making Allied a significant factor in their agency within a short period of time. Both personal lines and commercial lines products are available, but each contract component would stand on its own merit.
What are your premium volume requirements? Volume requirements are determined on a case-by-case basis depending upon location, positioning of the competition within the agency and agency potential. $150,000 combined CL & PL is the minimum level for our profit sharing.
Are you currently doing any niche marketing program? We have commercial programs that aggressively target golf courses, wholesale/distributors, franchised fast-food restaurants, franchised motels, auto service establishments, veterinarians, pharmacies, and the small to mid-sized artisan contractor.
What is your company's most aggressive line of business? Personal auto, artisan contractors, and BOP's
Do you use credit scoring? We offer 3 discount levels in our personal auto program based upon a customer's financial stability. This applies to both new and renewal business. Homeowner premiums are also determined in part by financial stability factors. We offer both home and auto programs for customers with insurance score challenges.
Do you currently download/upload with your agencies? Personal lines products are available to quote and issue on our Agent Center Internet system. We have bridges with most major rating vendors to provide true single entry access to our PL products. We download with all major vendors. Commercial lines may also be quoted and issued through our Internet Agent Center. Our Agent Center also contains rate and rule manuals, samples of forms, and real-time claim and billing notice information.
What methods do you use to distribute your insurance products? Independent agents and group association marketing in connection with independent agencies.
