What type of agency is your company looking for? Main street business 60-70% commercial. Agent that does not represent too many companies…some nationals, some regionals. We would like to position ourselves in the 1-2 or 3 position for production. Good perpetuation plan in place. Computer interaction capabilities.
What are your premium volume requirements? $200,000 for p/s. We would like to see our agents reach at least $500,000 (rural) and $1 million suburban-metro.
Are you currently doing any niche marketing program? Not specifically. We do have some target programs.
What is your company's most aggressive line of business? Business Owners.
Do you use credit scoring? Credit scoring is one piece of the selection process.

What methods do you use to distribute your insurance products? Independent agents are our sole distribution system.

We are larger than most regionals and have many of the capabilities of the larger nationals. We have the ability to handle all geographic territories from Chicago to rural areas of the state.
