become a member of one of the largest Agents Associations in the United
States. As a member of the PIIAI you will have access to programs
designed specifically for the independent agency.
There are two membership
types for the PIIAI:
Property
& Casualty Agency Membership
This membership
is available to all property & casualty agencies that have at
least one direct contract with a property & casualty carrier.
As a P&C Agency
member you have access to all programs on a state level and national
level. The PIIAI belongs to the Independent Insurance Agents
& Brokers of America (IIABA). You can also use the state and national
logo on all your business items.

Associate
Membership
The Associate
Membership is available to anyone who does not fall into the first
category. Associate members include insurance companies, life agents,
software companies and other individuals or companies which may have
an interest in the insurance industry.
As an Associate
member you have access to most of our programs on a state level. We
offer five membership options that incorporate dues, advertising credit,
convention, magazine subscriptions, young agents sponsorship, partners
membership, and more all into one package:
Individual
Company Membership - $750
Bronze Level - $3,500
Silver Level - $8,500
Gold Level - $15,000
Platinum Level - $20,000
PIIAI offers

Professional
Liability Programs
We have several different Professional Liability programs available.

Education
We are the largest education providers in the State of Illinois
for insurance agents. We offer many different programs throughout the
year which qualify for continuing education credits. Visit our Education

Our association has a full time lobbyist who works for the independent

Small Risk Workers
Comp Program
We have a work comp program available for you to place your work
comp clients through. This program was developed specifically for PIIAI
members.
Monthly Magazine
We publish a monthly magazine, INSURANCE INSIGHT, which is
sent to all members. Each issue contains articles on topics such as
insurance trends, technology, markets and coverages, financial planning,
state and federal issues, agency management, sales and marketing, education,
industry news, and programs and events sponsored by PIIAI.
Annual Convention
Each year PIIAI hosts one of the largest insurance conventions in
the nation. The event features continuing education sessions, industry
trade show, awards presentations, annual business meeting, networking
opportunities, top-notch speakers, entertainment, and much more. Visit

Access to a variety
of insurance related information
PIIAI
has a professional staff that can help you find answers to many of your
insurance related questions. We have access to the IL Insurance Laws
and Regulations and many other insurance related publications. We can
also help place agents with companies or companies with agents.
