Requirements
Illinois Regulations
The Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act (GLBA) imposes a series of
unprecedented privacy requirements on the insurance community. The Illinois
Department of Insurance has amended the Illinois Insurance Code which
governs the treatment of personal information by all Illinois licensees.
The new regulations provide guidance for compliance with Title V of
the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act. For a copy of the Illinois regulations in

The Insurance Agents & Brokers Guide
to Privacy
IIAA has prepared a comprehensive and extensive guide
for insurance agents and brokers. This guide was developed in large
part by the law firm of Collier Shannon Scott and in conjunction with
other agent and broker trade associations. The "final" results
of this effort have been posted below for your review and use. There
are three separate documents in PDF format. If you have any questions
