Underwriting Criteria
- Minimum experience mod: .70, maximum: 1.30, truckers: 1.25
- Must have at least one continuous year in business, except contractors are required to have 2 years
- Have a prior 5 year loss ratio under 35%
- No subcontractors
- No placement services or temporary agencies
- No seasonal operations
- No non-profits
- No working out of the house/home
- No franchises
- No 24-hour operations
- States available: AL, CT, DE, IL, LA, MD, NJ, NC, PA, SC, TN, TX, VA, VT
- Multi-state operations are eligible as long as all states are eligible
Most Common Reasons for Rejection
- Applicants who have been cancelled in the 3 years prior to the proposed policy inception date
- Applicants who have been insured in a PEO or similar structure in the past 2 years
- Premium too small
- Premium too large
- Unfavorable loss experience
- Answers to the general information questions are not acceptable

Underwriting Criteria

- Maximum experience mod: 1.35, subject to underwriting
- All job classes and phraseologies must be eligible
- No subcontractors
- No laboratories
- No placement services or temporary agencies
- No seasonal operations
- No non-profits
- No working out of the house/home
- No franchises
- No 24-hour operations
- States available: AL, CT, GA, IL, IN, KS, LA, MA, MD, NY, NC, PA, SC, TN, TX, VT
- Multi-state operations are eligible as long as states are eligible
Most Common Reasons for Rejection
- At least one class code is not eligible
- Premium too small
- Premium too large
- Start-up operations less than 2 years of background and experience
- Class or premium shown on application is inconsistent with rating data sheet
- Unfavorable loss experience

Underwriting Criteria
- States available: AR, CT, GA, IL, IN, LA, MA, MD, ME, MI, NC, NH, NJ, OK, PA, RI, TX, VA, WI. Strong interest in NJ exposures.
- Premium levels: Minimum ($1,000), Maximum ($25,000)
- Mod level: 1.15 maximum
- All account submissions require a complete application
- Loss information verification is mandatory on all risk submitted
- Loss runs required on all risks greater than $10,000 premium
- All risks must have a minimum of 12 continuous months business experience
- Must have at least one full-time employee
- Managed care credit of 5% offered for New Jersey risks

- Exposure in New York City
- Placement service or temporary agencies
- Contractor exposure
- Non-profit organization
- Out-of-home/house work
- 24-hour operation
- Foreign, USL&H or Jones Act
- Premium too small
