Program Highlights

How to Get Started:

  1. You must be a PIIAI member in good standing.
  2. Fax a Brokerage Agreement along with a copy of your agency Insurance license and your E&O declarations page (with a minimum limit of $1,000,000) to Tami Hubbell at (217) 391-1156. Tami can be reached at (800) 628-6436, ext. 3016. Upon receipt you are approved to use the program. YOU WILL NOT BE NOTIFIED. You may also send a submission with your Brokerage Agreement etal.

Simple 5 step Submission Process:

  1. Verify eligibility by reviewing the class code list and Underwriting Guidelines.
  2. Fax the completed Acord 130 to AIS at (217) 391-1156. (Include the Inclusion or Exclusion form, if applicable).
  3. Anticipate a faxed quote within 24 hours.
  4. Fax back an acceptance to Agency Resources, Inc. at
    (908) 598-6013.
  5. Anticipate a faxed binder within 24 hours. The carriers will bill your client directly... And you're done!

Important! A complete Acord 130 application
improves response time.

Underwriting Guidelines:
Our underwriters have extensive experience evaluating risk and strong negotiating skills dealing with carriers. With each request for coverage, our goal is to make sure that each policy receives a fair and competitive price under established underwriting guidelines.

General Guidelines:

  • All job classes and phraseologies must be eligible under our guidelines.
  • All carriers are subject to a minimum premium.
  • A detailed business profile must be provided.
  • Backdating is not allowed. Effective date will be the date the application is received by fax or email by Agency Resources.
  • Loss Runs are required for any risk with an Experience Mod over 1.00.
  • Acceptable Experience Mod (subject to underwriting)
    • ACE USA - Up to 1.30
    • AIG - Up to 1.35
    • AIG – Selected states up to 1.49: CT, GA, IL, IN, MN, MO, MS, NC, NM, SC, TN, TX, VA
    • AIG – PA – 1.359
    • Hanover – Up to 1.15
    • Hartford - Up to 1.0
  • All written declines will be issued through Agency Resources.

Agency Commissions

Competitive Commissions
Generate a new revenue stream with competitive commissions ranging from 4% to 8% on new placements and renewals. Commissions vary by carrier and may vary by state. Commission rates are subject to change.

Timely Payout
Commissions are paid monthly by Agency Resources. A commission will be paid within 30 days from the end of the month in which Agency Resources receives payment from your client. (The amount of the commission is subject to reduction by any return commission that is due to Agency Resources.)
